1MW plant operative “by the end of the year”

E-Cat World recently emailed a list of questions to Andrea Rossi to try and catch up on developments. Some of his answers could be called evasive but he is still confident that the first 1MW non-military E-Cat Plant will be up and working by the end of this year.

Aldo Proia warning for critics of E-Cat

Aldo Proia of Prometeon has warned critics of his company or Rossi’s E-Cat that they could face legal action for any slanderous remarks. Proia issued the warning during an interview with the Italian news magazine Il Democratico following the announcement that his company would be the licensee for Leonardo Corporation in Italy and San Marino.

E-Cat Australia ad on YouTube

The first advertisement for E-Cat technology has appeared on YouTube. It has been produced by E-Cat Australia, licensee for Leonardo products in Australasia, South East Asia, and the Pacific island. The advert looks like something that a school child might produce for homework rather than the first step in the global release of the world’s future energy source. That being said, at least it is an attempt to increase public awareness.

Defkalion “nearing huge success”

E-Cat World have reported on a skype interview between Peter Gluck (Ego Out blog) and a member of the Defkalion Green Technologies management team (the name of the person was not revealed) in which DGT’s business plans and operations were discussed. Among the claims made by the Defkalion representative, was that they “are nearing a huge success with an international energy breakout.”

Hot Fusion Iter Project costs spiral

ITER, the international project to build a massive (hot) fusion tokamak reactor in the south of France has hit major difficulties as costs and technical problems increase. Originally estimated at a cost of $6 billion and 10 years to build, those cost estimates now exceed $16 billion with some scientists believing that the technical hurdles are enormous. Some have gone on record as saying that fusion as viable source of energy could take at least 100 years to achieve.

NASA LENR budget “relatively small”

E-Cat World has rightly been asking the question…what exactly is the level of NASA’s interest in LENR? They reported recently that there is a lot of debate about the subject with some excited enough to look into it whilst others suspect a government agency could be spending tax dollars on an unproven science.

Genesis generator on ebay…no takers

PESN reported recently that the Genesis Self-Sustaining Generator Prototype and Documentation had surfaced on eBay of all places! The auction was set with an opening bid of $2500 but went through without attracting any offers.

The G-Cell by Genesis World Energy in 2003 had everyone very excited. The company founder, Patrick Kelly ended up in jail for fraud. The demonstration unit was put up for sale on eBay with an opening price of $2500 but closed without any bids.

Rossi to reveal licence holders in October

Andrea Rossi has pledged to reveal the companies and individuals to whom he has licensed his E-Cat low nickel hydrogen nuclear reaction technology in October this year. He also revealed that he is working on a new reactor and has plans to hold an E-Cat convention in the same month. It will be almost exactly a year on from when he revealed his prototype.
