1MW plant operative “by the end of the year”

E-Cat World recently emailed a list of questions to Andrea Rossi to try and catch up on developments. Some of his answers could be called evasive but he is still confident that the first 1MW non-military E-Cat Plant will be up and working by the end of this year.

Aldo Proia warning for critics of E-Cat

Aldo Proia of Prometeon has warned critics of his company or Rossi’s E-Cat that they could face legal action for any slanderous remarks. E-Cat Australia ad on YouTube

The first advertisement for E-Cat technology has appeared on YouTube. It has been produced by E-Cat Australia, licensee for Leonardo products in Australasia, South East Asia, and the Pacific island. The advert looks like something that a school child might produce for homework rather than the first step in the global release of the world’s future energy source. That being said, at least it is an attempt to increase public awareness.

E-Cat World are reporting this short comment by Brian Ahern, CTO of Vibronic Energy, as having been posted on Peter Gluck’s Ergo Out site. Ahern states that he is “announcing the nanonickel breakthrough at the New Energy Symposium in NYC on Wednesday. I am saying the energy is real, repeatable and of useful output. I will also state that it is not of nuclear origin. I will say that it is a manifestation of asymmetric magnetism.”

Blow to domestic E-Cat running costs

Andrea Rossi has revealed that, as part of the certification requirements, the domestic E-Cat can only have a fuel change carried out by an approved contractor. This is a setback in terms of cost as purchasers will have to factor in the call-out fees for a contractor twice a year.

E-Cat World recently published an interesting post by Mr David Hook who had written to The Department of Energy & Climate Change UK with regards to the Governmental line on LENR. His reply does at least confirm that they are aware of “a number of reactor designs and technologies proposed for operation around the world” but states that “Industry has not indicated that they would be looking to deploy them in the UK.”

Rossi promises news “within months”

With July rapidly approaching, followers of Andrea Rossi’s E-Catalyzer project are having their patience tested to the full. With the flurry of excitement late last year, expectations were high that 2012 would be a special year in the development of LENR technology as Rossi moved closer to his goal of producing cheaper, greener energy.
