Mystery Defkalion visitor – Fact or Fiction?

A report from someone who has claimed to visit Defkalion in Greece has been reported on E-Cat World’s website having been picked up from a forum at christmastenson.com. With a temporary lull in news and reports, it seems that any snippet or rumour can take on far greater significance that is possibly deserves. E-Cat World do advise treating the report with caution.

The mystery visitor claimed that they were “Just in Athens and met with representatives of Defkalion. They told me that they were going to begin selling their LENR device this July 2012. I was shown their R&D model which just starts with a flick of the switch.” Although there is not a lot of detail, they do go on to say that “They have their model running at 250degc. They can get their LENR to run over 350degc (dry steam), but they need something more than the current fluid that they are using.”

Interestingly, the mysterious visitor then decides to compare Defkalion with Rossi, for no obvious reason. They say that “Rossi has problem shutting down his E-CAT. Rossi is a “one-man-band” and Defkalion has 27 scientists. Several groups have come to see them including NASA . . . I went there to investigate possible investment. They only want BIG investors. They have MANY OEM (original equipment manufacturers) already on board internationally.”

They claim that Defkalion “intend to manufacture 300,000 units in the first year. It will cost only 30 Euros/year to operate each LENR device. They have all the European certificates. Everyone else in the world recognises the EU certificates, except the United States. Defkalion had decided the US is in the ‘too-hard-basket’ and won’t manufacture or sell to the US. The units will be monitored via mobile telephone or internet to insure their proper operation.”

What makes this story interesting is that Defkalion recently shut down their forum as a backlash to criticism. Coincidentally, Andrea Rossi has just issued a thinly veiled threat to sue those accusing him of any wrong-going. Rossi has not yet gone to the extremes of shutting off his project to the media but clearly he is also feeling the strain of trying to keep his audience happy. Whether there is any truth in the mystery visitor to Defkalion or not, at least it has kept them in the news.
