Rossi keeps his supporters on tenterhooks

Andrea Rossi has put followers of his E-Catalyzer project on alert with a short statement indicating that positive news is in the pipeline. In his statement on the Journal of Nuclear Physics blog site he says that “Within a week we will have important news regarding the high temperature reactors.”

Obviously a statement like that has got people guessing but the most likely outcome is the release of data from the tests that have been running on the high temperature E-Cats. His quote also says that “We will publish the tests and the COP calculation. The COP, anyway, is not different.”

As suggested by E-Cat World in reporting the story, seeing data from these tests will certainly be interesting. They could be of great significance in the newly emerging LENR industry if stable, reliable 600C reactor temperatures are reported. Of course, without third party confirmation of the data there will always be room for the sceptics to have their say. Terms between Rossi and his doubters are presently at an all time low after a series of minor spats and Rossi seems intent on pushing his own agenda. At least the announcement that news is imminent will prepare interested observers for something noteworthy in what has, so far at least, been a quiet start to the year for Rossi and his E-Cat project.
